Some Kind Of Wonderful
Peter Cincotti: On the Moon
Relaxed, polished Canadian
Madeleine Peyroux: Half the Perfect World
wonderful relaxed voice with just that bit of edge
Brian Houston: Sugar Queen
Saw this guy at Cheese & Grain Frome. Brilliant, cross between Van Morrison & Leonard Cohen.
Rufus Wainwright: Want One
Superb album and he's on at Glastonbury this year. May require a couple of listening but then it gets you.
Beyond the Blue
Beth Nielsen Chapman: Greatest Hits
superb album from Beth
Snow Patrol: Eyes Open
Superb album
Carly Simon: Moonlight Serenade
Outstanding rendition of old time favourites.
Steve Tyrell: A New Standard
Talent worth noting
American Baby
Dave Matthews Band: Stand Up
Only recently discovered Dave Matthews, South African guy massive success in the states virtually unheard of over here. Album is a bargain on iTunes.
Rob Thomas: Something to Be
This guy rocks.
Richard Ashcroft: Keys to the World
Richard Ashcroft from the Verve goes it alone. He sounds very much like Bob Dylan on some of the tracks. Excellent.
We shouldn't wish it were easier, we should wish we were better.
I like to think I can get on with anyone, having spent almost forty years in sales and marketing.
Most of this time has been spent in the hair, beauty and personal care markets, initially working in a corporate environment with International companies at board level and in my own business as a marketing consultant.
Six years ago I discovered BNI and I love its approach, ethos of givers gain and of course the people you get to work with.
I would like to think that I provide a practical, sensible and realistic approach to developing business. You will always find me optimistic, enthusiastic and keen to make a difference.
My interests usually involve music where I have a wide interest including Popular, Opera, Jazz and Lounge music. Van Morrison, The Eagles, Bob Dylan, Diana Krall, Clare Teal, Rufus Wainwright, Crowded House, Snow Patrol, John Martyn and of course the Beatles. Other interests include Personal Development with Jim Rohn and Tony Robbins being inspirational mentors. Health and Wellness has been of particular interest, especially complimentary therapies, natural remedies and an understanding that the body has the ability to heal itself.
